Sales: a boon for your store animation

In-store sales periods (such as summer or end-of-year sales) represent a number of strategic advantages for your business. They boost your sales, are an important means of communication for your establishment, and add to the festive atmosphere. Organizing customer events at these times is a powerful lever for increasing your visibility, boosting your sales over the long term and building lasting customer loyalty. In the face of a growing number of stores and the growing threat of e-commerce, an event can also help you stand out from the crowd and make your store more visible and attractive.

How to attract more customers during sales periods?

Depending on the nature of your store, the response and ideas for sales events will inevitably vary. Demonstration and tasting workshops are among the most popular sales activities during the sales period: the idea is to offer your customers the chance to try out your new products or your best-sellers. This encourages impulse buying in-store and creates a friendly atmosphere. Then there are competitions and “fair prizes”: simple but always effective. Invite customers to guess the price of a prize or draw lots to win one... Offer attractive prizes or vouchers to stimulate participation.

Fashion shows and live product demonstrations are also an effective way of attracting and seducing visitors. Photobooth with social network sharing: set up a themed photobooth with props and decorate the space to match the sales atmosphere. An ideal way to create memories and encourage consumers to share online.

Boost your in-store promotions during sales periods

In addition to animation, don't forget that it's also important to create an impactful event decoration for your store. Theme your store with balloons, garlands, special “Sales” displays, seasonal accessories (e.g. the typical Christmas tree for the December festivities) etc. to create visual attraction. The presence of a microphone animator is also essential, as he or she will create a festive atmosphere by going directly to the customer. He'll announce promotions and direct customers to your best offers.

In general, it's best to organize events and activities that relate directly to your business. For example, a fashion show and photobooth would be more appropriate for a clothing store than a tasting workshop. These activities can also be adapted to suit your type of business, the profile of your customers and your budget.
